Description

Build Fleet Management and Observability systems for Kafka and Flink platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own software delivery tasks including code development, testing, and deployment at the component level.
• Troubleshoot and refactor existing code to maintain high quality.
• Contribute to agile processes by delivering work from the backlog.
• Document APIs and services being delivered.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka and Apache Flink.
• Proficiency in Java, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with messaging solutions and integration patterns including NATS.
• Understanding of stateful stream processing concepts.
• Knowledge of secure coding standards such as OWASP, CWE, and SEI CERT.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and cloud-first development on AWS or Azure.
• Competency in CI/CD, containerization, and standard branching/peer review practices.
• Experience with functional and non-functional testing.
• Practical application of Agile/Scrum practices.

• Experience with Fleet Management and Observability systems.
