Description

You will own the administration and architecture of the Enterprise Data Warehouse within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and support an Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) environment in the public cloud with minimal supervision.
• Design VM configurations, resource allocations, and manage CDB and PDB levels based on workload requirements.
• Implement compartments, tagging, and IAM policies for varied user groups accessing the OADW or OCI tenancy.
• Develop, test, and implement ETL scripts and jobs using ODI to move data from sources to targets.
• Design the enterprise data management framework, including processes for data acquisition, maintenance, archiving, and purging.
• Monitor databases to resolve performance issues and respond to EDW incidents.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of experience in database design and warehouse architecture within an Oracle environment.
• At least 2 years of recent experience administering Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse in an OCI environment.
• 5 years of experience administering Oracle data warehouses within the last 10 years.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and OCI Access Management.
• Proficiency with Oracle tools for ETL, performance management, and tuning.
• Ability to develop physical data models and support the Kimball Dimensional Data Modeling Framework.
• Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud 2021 Certified Specialist and/or Oracle Machine Learning using Autonomous Database 2021 Certified Specialist certification.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical design specifications.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2021 Certified Architect Professional.
• Oracle Data Integrator 12C Certified Implementation Specialist.
• 2+ years of experience performing ETL activities using Oracle tools.
