Description

You will serve as a senior subject matter expert managing large-scale NoSQL environments and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Architect, tune, and administer large-scale NoSQL clusters.
• Configure and manage NoSQL clusters within public cloud environments.
• Execute upgrades, installations, and backups for NoSQL clusters and individual nodes.
• Implement database encryption at both the row and document levels.
• Coach interns and consultants to ensure successful project work plan completion.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Couchbase.
• Expertise in architecting and tuning large-scale NoSQL clusters.
• Experience configuring NoSQL in public cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Shell Scripting.
• Strong understanding of security concepts and encryption implementation.
• Experience with MySQL and MongoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Database Access Controls and Transparent Data Encryption.
• Experience working within an Agile environment.
• Experience deploying NoSQL across multiple public clouds.
