Description

You own the stability, performance, and evolution of OMP’s internal Oracle and SQL Server systems, including Azure cloud infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize internal Oracle and SQL Server systems to ensure top-tier performance.
• Manage and scale Azure SQL Database services on our fast-growing cloud infrastructure.
• Support consultants and developers by reviewing and writing efficient, complex SQL statements and stored procedures.
• Evaluate and integrate new database technologies into existing product frameworks.
• Collaborate within the Tools and Database team to provide secure, effective technical frameworks for engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in SQL Server administration and T-SQL development.
• Proven expertise in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Strong background in managing customer-hosted SQL servers.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database services and cloud database management.
• Solid understanding of Oracle database technologies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Familiarity with non-relational (NoSQL) database systems.
