Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and management of highly available database solutions for mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, upgrade, and patch highly available database solutions to support enterprise applications.
• Implement standard operating procedures for database management, including security controls, separation of duties, and backup schedules.
• Define criteria for data conversion, data quality, and data cleansing when working with COTS vendors.
• Perform database tuning and troubleshoot outages as part of a cross-functional technology team.
• Guide the deployment and management of scalable databases while enforcing policies regarding change management and compliance.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience building, maintaining, securing, and backing up databases across multiple platforms.
• Expertise in Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• 15+ years of experience in data cleansing, data conversions, and data migrations.
• 15+ years of experience providing enterprise application and database operational support.
• 10+ years of application development experience using Java, .NET, Json, JavaScript, or C#.
• 10+ years of experience building, integrating, or implementing COTS enterprise-level database solutions.
• 5+ years of experience implementing infrastructure architecture for enterprise applications.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing high availability systems.
• Proficiency with SQL, TOAD, Visual Studio, MySQL, and various database products.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WebLogic, JBOSS, and WebLogic infrastructure.
