Description

You will own the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Oracle databases across physical and virtualized RHEL/OEL OS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide DBA services, including database design and query validation, to application and support teams.
• Automate database tasks and develop scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Design and implement database infrastructure solutions while managing technical controls to enforce security policies.
• Design, implement, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) methodologies, validating Oracle 19c backup/recovery operations.
• Mentor junior DBA staff and guide development teams on PL/SQL best practices and database design.

Required Skills

• 10+ years administering Oracle 19c or newer.
• 3+ years experience with MS SQL 2012+ and PostgreSQL.
• Strong expertise in PL/SQL coding, debugging, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in Linux System administration and bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with performance monitoring and tuning tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure SQL, and PowerShell Scripting.
• Knowledge of high-availability database solutions (clustering, replication).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Solarwinds, or OEM.
