Description

You will manage and optimize database structures and environments across a global infrastructure containing multiple legacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer all SQL Server database environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Execute DDL/DML changes for SQL Anywhere, DB2, and Oracle using established change control processes.
• Manage database builds, upgrades, and patches using SAP SQL Anywhere tools and utilities.
• Develop and deploy SSIS and SSRS packages while maintaining organizational SLAs.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support for production databases on a rotational basis.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in database administration.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of SAP SQL Anywhere (Sybase) Central, replication, and architecture.
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, and SAP SQL.
• Ability to manage database monitoring using tools like SQL Sentry.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Experience working with on-site and offshore teams.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft SQL Server certification.
• Additional experience with Oracle databases.
