Description

You will design, develop, and implement complex database solutions, managing SQL 2016 migrations to SQL 2022 and supporting core business functions like DMTEA and GIS. You will troubleshoot performance issues, maintain system stability in high-tier environments, and lead technical knowledge sharing within the team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate SQL 2016 environments to SQL 2022 and manage ongoing database infrastructure projects.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and proactively maintain stability for core business systems including DMTEA and GIS.
• Execute SQL BAU activities and provide on-call support during after-hours periods.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and lead technical knowledge sharing sessions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SQL Server Administration.
• Deep expertise in AlwaysOn performance tuning and MS SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using Query Store.
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with other RDBMS systems (TigerGraph, Redis, or CockroachDB).

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with Bank of America (BoA) systems.
