Description

You will function as a key member of the infrastructure team, owning the planning, coordination, and execution of application database migrations.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing databases for migration readiness and develop migration strategies for on-premises and cloud environments.
• Coordinate with application teams to ensure compatibility during migration and monitor processes to resolve issues promptly.
• Configure and maintain SQL Server platforms, performing schema conversions, data transformations, and integrity checks.
• Implement encryption, access controls, and auditing while ensuring compliance with state and federal data regulations.

Required Skills

• 3 years’ experience as a Senior SQL Server DBA.
• 5 years of experience with Backup/Restore operations.
• 1 year of experience migrating application databases between versions and platforms.
• Proficiency in T-SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services.
• Experience managing roles, permissions, and encryption within SQL Server.
• Familiarity with PowerShell.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
