Description

You will manage and optimize SQL and Oracle databases across business intelligence, data warehouse, and operational systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise-level systems including storage, archiving, backup, recovery, and capacity planning.
• Optimize database performance through continuous tuning and hardware/software analysis.
• Manage code deployment, system upgrades, and 24/7 production environment availability.
• Collaborate with developers to refine logical designs into specific data models.
• Maintain access permissions and manage audit controls in coordination with Internal Audit.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a database administration role.
• Extensive experience with Oracle and MS SQL system maintenance, tuning, and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-level clustered, mirrored, and replicated database environments for disaster recovery.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills in production environments.
• Proven ability to manage data warehouse (DWH) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) systems.
• Experience managing database integrity, security, and audit requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Informix, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, or Git.
