Description

You will manage critical database infrastructure and modernize legacy applications within Linux environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and design information systems utilizing ADABAS and Natural One.
• Test, implement, and perform quality assurance on information systems.
• Advise on system architecture and maintain procedural documentation.
• Modernize legacy applications and implement state/federal mandates in Linux systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years experience with Software AG products (ADABAS, Natural, Natural One, Predict, Construct, etc.).
• 10+ years experience with MVS/JCLS, COBOL/CICS, VSAM files, Linux/zLinux, and Informix.
• 3 years experience advising on system architecture and updating documentation.
• 2 years knowledge of SNAP, TANF, eligibility, economic assistance, and child welfare policies.
• Experience with Jira and KACE ITSM systems.
• Experience with SCRUM/iteration methodologies.
• Familiarity with Adabas, Rdbms, Relational database systems, Cics, Mvs/jcl, Vsam, Unix, Jcl, Ca-7, and SDLC.
