Description

Manage and support Oracle database infrastructure across AIX, Linux, and Windows environments in a remote capacity.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain multiple Oracle DBMS environments.
• Monitor databases proactively and manage incident, capacity, and performance tasks for production and development environments.
• Execute backup, recovery, housekeeping, and disaster recovery activities.
• Support application performance and design by assisting Application DBAs.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support incidents and changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle 12.x and 19c databases.
• Proven experience with Imperva.
• Strong expertise in AIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
• Deep knowledge of DataGuard, RMAN, and RAC.
• Experience with Cluster-ready Services and ASM logical and physical database design.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting.
• Experience working within AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Ability to handle performance monitoring and tuning.
