Description

You will manage and maintain production and test databases to ensure optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve user queries and manage user access, including profile assignment and privilege granting per policy.
  • Execute logical backups using Export, Import, and Data Pump utilities.
  • Perform database installations, configurations, bug patching, and monthly purging activities.
  • Monitor performance using OEM 19C, including SQL tuning sets, advisory reports, and weekly analyzers.
  • Schedule and monitor RMAN backups for all production databases.
  • Collaborate with UNIX, Windows, Network, Storage, and Monitoring teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and progress reports for customers.
  • Mentor team members on complex technical problems and conduct user training.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in database administration.
  • Proficiency with RMAN Backup and monitoring.
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 19C.
  • Knowledge of Export, Import, and Data Pump utilities.
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX and Windows environments.
  • Understanding of Network and Storage infrastructure.
  • Ability to perform SQL tuning and performance monitoring.
  • Any Graduate degree.
