Description

You will manage, optimize, and secure MySQL database environments while supporting development teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the performance of existing database programs and systems.
• Design new database architectures to meet data storage requirements.
• Write scripts to automate tasks and increase data storage capacity.
• Debug database scripts, resolve conflicts, and document design and performance processes.
• Mentor other administrators and implement best practices for security and recovery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration and complex procedure development.
• Expertise in MySQL and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of database design, including indexes, triggers, procedures, and views.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, specifically Pentaho.
• Knowledge of Software Cloud environments and data security protocols.
• Proficiency in data analysis and automation.
• Ability to gather requirements and communicate technical functionality to business teams.
