Description

You will own the administration and migration of critical SQL Server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Microsoft SQL Server instances.
• Monitor database performance, tune queries, and optimize indexes.
• Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Execute migrations from on-premises to cloud platforms.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine database tasks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an MS SQL Server DBA.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and PowerShell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proven experience in on-premises to cloud database migrations.
• Strong knowledge of database security, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud-native database monitoring and management tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
