Description

You manage and support SQL Server database environments through installation, configuration, and maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily administration, including installation, configuration, and patching of SQL Servers.
• Configure and monitor AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Failover Cluster Instances (FCI), Log Shipping, and Replication.
• Execute backup and restore procedures using native tools and Rubrik.
• Perform performance tuning, query troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Implement database security, code migrations, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SQL Server 2014, 2016, 2017, or 2019 administration.
• Expertise in SQL clustering, availability groups, and replication topologies.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and troubleshooting queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with both OLTP and Data Warehousing environments.
• Ability to implement operational automation using PowerShell and SQL tools.
• In-depth understanding of SQL architecture.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS.
• Experience with PowerBI.
