Description

You will manage complex enterprise database environments across Oracle, Microsoft Azure SQL, Synapse, and Mainframe IMS/DB2. Your work ensures secure, stable, and high-performance operations through advanced administration, performance tuning, and large-scale system changes.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve project artifacts including Use Cases and SRS.
• Prepare and implement database changes across DEV, INT, QA, UAT, and PROD environments.
• Install, configure, and patch operating systems and database technologies.
• Perform performance tuning and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to support data replication.

Required Skills

• Expert experience administering Oracle databases.
• Hands-on administration of Microsoft Azure SQL.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and stored procedure development.
• Experience with Azure technologies: storage accounts, file shares, Key Vault, and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and Azure database replication.
• Ability to manage Synapse and Mainframe IMS/DB2 databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise-scale data migration and modernization.
• Background in public-sector or large multi-environment infrastructure.
