Description

You will administer, secure, and optimize enterprise Oracle and SQL Server database environments, ensuring high availability and performance for critical public-sector platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain physical database architectures aligned with application needs.
• Execute backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery strategies using RMAN and Oracle Data Guard.
• Perform SQL optimization, tuning, and performance troubleshooting for on-premise and cloud-hosted instances.
• Configure and manage Oracle Enterprise Manager, Grid Infrastructure, and ASM.
• Implement data security measures including ASO, TDE, and encryption standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience.
• Deep expertise in Oracle 12c and 19c, including multi-tenant architecture.
• Strong proficiency with Oracle 19c RAC, Grid Infrastructure, and ASM.
• Advanced experience with RMAN backup and restore operations.
• Proven ability to configure Oracle Data Guard (physical and logical).
• Strong UNIX shell scripting skills.
• Experience hosting Oracle databases on public cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages.
• Proficiency with query languages and information-retrieval tools.
