You will manage and optimize complex database architectures across multiple platforms, ensuring high availability and scalable performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database architectures supporting disaster recovery and scalable performance.
• Lead the development of database clusters, implementing load balancing and monitoring strategies.
• Architect and deploy cloud-native database solutions integrated with existing infrastructure.
• Establish backup strategies, recovery procedures, and security protocols for all systems.
• Optimize performance through proactive monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database administration.
• Deep expertise in MSSQL, Snowflake, and SQLite.
• Proven experience with cloud-native implementations using AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
• Strong understanding of database clustering, replication, and high availability.
• Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with Big Data technologies and data warehousing solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with database monitoring tools and alerting systems.
