Description

You will own senior database administration tasks for critical systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SQL Server infrastructure, including backups, replication, installation, and configuration.
• Troubleshoot performance issues within SQL Server 2016 or higher.
• Execute data querying using Microsoft Transact-SQL Server.
• Handle database migrations from on-premise environments to Azure or AWS.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of DBA experience in an environment of similar size and complexity to Government.
• 2+ years of experience as a SQL Infrastructure DBA.
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher.
• 6+ years of experience querying data with Microsoft Transact-SQL Server.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server High Availability Groups.
• 1+ years of experience with Azure SQL.
• 1+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, CosmosDB, or Oracle 19c.
• Experience with PowerBI and Microsoft SQL Reporting/Analytical Services.
