Description

You will ensure the security, availability, and optimal operation of critical data within the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Oracle Business Intelligence applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Oracle, OBIEE, and Informatica servers to ensure stability and execute nightly process monitoring.
• Implement Oracle database performance tuning and improvement processes.
• Manage Oracle users, roles, object security, partitioning, and parallel executions.
• Coordinate Oracle patches and upgrades with the Office of Information Technology.
• Develop migration strategies for transitioning Oracle databases and BI tools from on-premise to a federally accredited Cloud Environment.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) applications.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Recovery Manager (RMAN).
• Proven experience migrating Oracle databases and BI tools to Cloud Environments.
• Expertise in implementing Oracle database performance tuning and improvement processes.
• Experience managing object partitioning, parallel executions, and database compression methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or 8 years of additional relevant experience).
• U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a Level 2 security clearance.
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Washington, D.C.
