Description

You will manage, modernize, and migrate Oracle and MS SQL Server database environments to Linux and Azure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own the migration of Oracle platforms from Windows to Linux and integrate Azure-based services.
• Develop, maintain, and tune complex T-SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and custom reports.
• Build and manage SSIS interfaces to move data between on-premise Oracle and Azure MS SQL Server platforms.
• Design and maintain complex data models, including star schema architectures and data warehouses.
• Analyze existing structures to build new reports, data loads, and extracts from scratch.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database analysis or architecture.
• Expertise in MS SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS.
• Deep experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in PowerBI for reporting deliverables.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processing and data warehouse management.
• Knowledge of star schema architecture and complex data modeling.
• Experience working with Azure-based MS SQL Server environments.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cross-platform database migration strategies.
