Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable database solutions and modern data architectures across the Azure ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design data models, database structures, and performance-tuning strategies for high-load environments.
• Develop complex SQL/T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers while optimizing execution plans.
• Build end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and manage RBAC for security and compliance.
• Implement data warehouses and lakes using Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop Python-based data services, APIs, and microservices using FastAPI or Django.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Database or Data Engineer.
• Expertise in data modelling, database design, performance tuning, advanced SQL, and T-SQL.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure data platforms, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong knowledge of database internals, indexing, execution plans, and security models.
• Hands-on experience with Python for API integrations and data processing.
• Familiarity with DBT, workflow orchestration, and frameworks like FastAPI or Django.
• Understanding of Azure networking fundamentals (VNets, private endpoints).

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating data platforms with LLM-based systems and agentic workflows.
• Exposure to MLOps, AI lifecycle management, or distributed systems.
