Description

You will consult with clients to compare database technologies, define value propositions, and manage database services using Nutanix NDB and NC2 Cloud.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and manage database services on-prem and in the cloud.
• Provide database consultancy and evangelism to existing and prospective customers.
• Participate in pre-sales activities as a Subject Matter Expert to support sales efforts.
• Create toolkit documentation, best practice guides, and whitepapers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of database experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or other commercial/open-source platforms.
• 4+ years of experience in database implementation, including Oracle RAC or SQL Server Always On.
• Experience migrating mission-critical database environments between platforms.
• Experience handling multiple cloud environments for database migrations (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres).
• Expertise in writing and reading SQL queries, scripting, and automation.
• Database design experience in virtual environments.
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and server tuning strategies.
• Fluency in English is required.
