Description

You will own the analysis, optimization, and modernization of SQL Server database structures and reporting workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing SQL Server structures and reporting logic to identify performance gaps.
• Build, optimize, and maintain SSRS reports for accuracy and usability.
• Troubleshoot and stabilize inefficient data flows across claims, invoicing, and accounting systems.
• Evaluate and implement improved integration between SQL Server and QuickBooks.
• Collaborate with the IT Director to automate manual processes and modernize legacy environments.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of experience with SQL Server (2016–2019+) and advanced T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience building and optimizing SSRS reports.
• Strong understanding of data flows, reporting logic, and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to work independently in loosely structured, legacy system environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.
• Exposure to ETL tools (SSIS or similar).
• Experience in healthcare, medical billing, claims, or revenue cycle environments.
