Description

You will design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle database components and OLTP applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application and database components based on business requirements.
• Analyze and optimize existing SQL queries and non-performant programs for efficiency.
• Identify process improvements, including automation and infrastructure redesign.
• Guide full-stack developers in design approaches and mentor junior staff.
• Provide tier 2 on-call support and act as Subject Matter Expert during production investigations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years developing OLTP database applications in Oracle 10g/11g environments.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
• Expertise in PL/SQL, including Types, Collections, Functions, Procedures, Packages, and Triggers.
• Experience with SQL Loader, Materialized views, and complex SQL reporting.
• Proficiency in UNIX, LINUX, or Solaris environments within multi-tier architectures.
• Hands-on experience with PL/SQL techniques in LOBs and multilingual character conversion.
• Proven ability to use Exadata Oracle Performance Tuning.
• Experience addressing internal audit concerns related to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
