Description

You will lead the database team and own the architecture, performance, and reliability of MySQL infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the DBA team to ensure high productivity and technical growth.
• Design, architect, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing database systems.
• Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Manage MySQL replication setups and ensure data consistency across distributed systems.
• Evaluate and implement AI-based or automation tools for proactive database management.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in MySQL database management, architecture, and optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL replication, backup/recovery strategies, and high availability setups.
• Experience in query execution plans, indexing strategies, and performance profiling tools.
• Hands-on experience with version control (Git/SVN) and CI/CD database deployment.
• Knowledge of resource planning, data modeling, and query optimization best practices.
• Experience with other SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a MySQL Database Developer or DBA.
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring a DBA/development team.
