Description

Design, model, and maintain RDBMS systems in SQL Server and Azure. You will own the data layer, translating business requirements into robust data models while ensuring security and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize database schemas, including logical, physical, and relational modeling.
• Author, maintain, and rewrite complex SQL code and legacy processes to support infrastructure changes.
• Translate business requirements from process owners into viable data models and elements.
• Implement security-driven development following NIST and Microsoft Trust Center standards.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Peer Data Administrators on workflow and business rule discovery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development and administration.
• Expertise in SQL, including DML, DQL, and DCL.
• Proficiency with Azure Cloud services, Blob Storage, and DevOps.
• Deep understanding of data modeling: ER diagrams, entities, attributes, cardinality, functions, views, and triggers.
• Strong knowledge of normalization, aggregation, concurrency, and JSON data interchange formats.
• Experience with SQL Data Tools, MS Power Apps, SQL Reporting Services, and MS Power BI.
• Practical application of the SDLC and Agile environments using the Scrum framework.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
