Description

Design, build, and optimize database applications and ETL processes within an onsite-offshore model.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Linux Shell scripting and IBM DataStage.
• Build, deploy, and troubleshoot database applications using SQL Server.
• Guide application deployment activities to ensure successful rollouts.
• Mentor junior developers on technical tasks and coding best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to established standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applications development experience.
• Strong expertise in Linux Shell scripting.
• Proficiency with IBM DataStage.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server.
• Experience working in an onsite-offshore development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS or Azure.
• Experience with additional databases beyond SQL Server.
• Experience with DataStage connectors or other ETL tools.
