Description

You will design, develop, and optimize complex database schemas and SQL objects for high-volume environments processing over 500 million new records daily.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize large-scale database schemas, SQL scripts, and objects to meet strict performance requirements.
• Implement processes for product development and release to facilitate high-quality, rapid deployment.
• Provide solutions to ensure data integrity across enterprise systems.
• Participate in code reviews to validate code effectiveness and quality.
• Collaborate with application developers, product, and executive teams to resolve data-related technical issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL.
• 4+ years of experience coding complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Expertise in database architecture handling massive data volumes.
• Deep knowledge of performance tuning, including query optimization and indexing strategies.
• Hands-on development experience with SQL Server 2016 or above, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling and database design.
• Experience with database development methodologies including Source Control, Release Management, Agile, and Scrum.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical area.

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare domain knowledge.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or Bamboo.
