Description

You will design, optimize, and maintain complex database schemas and SQL objects for high-volume enterprise systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize large-scale database schemas and SQL scripts to meet strict performance requirements.
• Implement development and release processes to ensure high-quality, rapid deployment of database changes.
• Collaborate with application developers and product teams to resolve data-related technical issues.
• Provide technical solutions to maintain data integrity across enterprise systems and participate in code reviews.
• Publish technical documentation using internal tools and explain internal mechanics of database performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL.
• 4+ years of experience coding complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Expertise in database architecture handling over 500 million new records daily.
• Deep knowledge of performance tuning, including query optimization, server optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Hands-on development experience with SQL Server 2016 or above, including SSIS and SSRS.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling and database design.
• Experience with database development methodologies including Source Control, Release Management, Agile, and Scrum.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ETL job monitoring, Git, and Jira/Confluence.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo) and Test-Driven Development.
