Description

Lead technical development for large-scale Oracle and MS SQL Server systems, owning design, implementation, and mentorship.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical solutions based on detailed customer requirements.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, PL/SQL code, triggers, packages, and procedures.
• Manage database upgrades for Oracle Database and Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM).
• Lead, mentor, and oversee junior developers assigned to specific projects.
• Perform project management duties, including technical analysis and design documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development, database design, or administration.
• Expertise in Oracle Forms and Reports, including libraries, objects, and menus.
• Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL, triggers, packages, and procedures.
• Extensive experience with Oracle or MS SQL Server DBMS and SQL language.
• Expert knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Experience with WebSphere and network firewall implementations for secure resource protection.
• Proficiency with Toad, SQL Developer, and Oracle Forms and Reports Builder.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools like VersionOne.
• Must be able to obtain Postal clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Advanced Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server certification.
