Description

You will design and optimize large-scale database architectures and complex schemas to support high-volume data environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex DB schemas, SQL scripts, and objects for performance and functionality.
• Collaborate with data, product, and executive stakeholders to resolve technical data issues and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Implement solutions that ensure data integrity across enterprise systems.
• Participate in code reviews and partner with developers to establish engineering best practices.
• Document technical processes and collaborative information using internal tools.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL.
• 4+ years of experience coding complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Expertise in database architecture handling massive data volumes, exceeding 500 million new records daily.
• Advanced performance tuning skills, including query optimization, server optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Hands-on development experience with SQL Server 2016 or above, including SSIS and SSRS.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling and database design.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with SQL, Jira, Tableau, and Business Intelligence tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Red Gate Tools, Jenkins, TeamCity, or Bamboo.
• Knowledge of Git, Agile/Scrum, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Background in healthcare domain or highly regulated environments.
