Description

Design, implement, and maintain data systems to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop MS SQL databases and data models to support business applications.
  • Build ETL processes using SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Manage cloud database infrastructure on AWS, specifically using EC2, Glue, and S3.
  • Construct data pipelines to integrate disparate sources into a Snowflake data warehouse.
  • Optimize database performance through query fine-tuning, indexing, and configuration management.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in database engineering.
  • Expertise in MS SQL Server and SSIS.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
  • Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, Glue, and S3.
  • Strong SQL programming skills and MS SQL Server administration.
  • Experience with Data Analytics and RESTful APIs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and IT operations for high-availability services.
