Description

You will manage the databases powering the core application stack, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into data models that support long-term architectural solutions.
• Create and maintain application schema upgrade scripts independently.
• Troubleshoot database, application, and performance-related issues in coordination with Dev, QE, and support teams.
• Manage performance tuning, measurement, and capacity planning for production software.
• Execute backup and recovery operations using RMAN and Data Pump utilities.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of IT experience.
• Strong programming capabilities in SQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and transactions.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC Administration and ASM.
• Extensive experience with Golden Gate replication.
• Experience with Oracle engineered systems such as Exadata.
• Proven ability to implement partitioning, archiving, and application maturity models.
• Hands-on experience with Disaster Recovery implementation.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and remain on-call to support production systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining Oracle Data Guard and Data Guard Broker configurations.
• Any Graduate degree.
