Description

You will lead database migration projects from MSSQL to cloud-native PostgreSQL environments. You will own the release pipeline for database instances within AWS using Aurora and RDS.

Responsibilities

• Execute migrations from MSSQL to cloud-native PostgreSQL.
• Manage and optimize database instances within AWS using Aurora and RDS.
• Develop scripts to automate database tasks and workflows.
• Debug complex database performance and connectivity issues.
• Maintain data integrity across SQL and NoSQL systems.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in database engineering.
• Hands-on experience with MSSQL migrations.
• Proficiency with AWS foundations, specifically Aurora and RDS.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with DynamoDB.
• Strong scripting skills for database automation.
• Advanced debugging capabilities for database systems.
