Description

Lead database management, design logical and physical schemas, and drive data modeling and capacity planning. You will own platform upgrades, migrations, and patch implementation while providing technical direction for future database technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions using Center for Internet Security benchmarks and auditing.
• Manage server-class databases through planning, research, implementation, and maintenance.
• Support high availability via SQL database Clusters, Always On, and Mirroring.
• Perform root cause analysis, performance tuning, and query optimization using DMVs and SQL Profiler.
• Execute change and release management for controlled deployments.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of Database Engineering experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2014, 2016, 2017, 2019) Administration and Engine.
• Expertise in backup, restore, recovery models, and database maintenance operations.
• Proficiency in authoring and analyzing T-SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and indexes.
• Experience with Microsoft SSIS (2014, 2016, 2017, 2019) deployments and migrations.
• Experience configuring and managing High Availability (HA) and troubleshooting configuration management.
• Ability to write and debug complex SQL queries and data migration scripts.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SSAS, SSRS, and PowerBI Administration.
• Experience with Oracle database administration, PowerShell, and Python.
• Familiarity with Azure and GCP cloud platforms.
