Description

You will own the migration of ORCA VM infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform and optimize SQL databases for enterprise data needs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate ORCA VM infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL databases to support enterprise data requirements.
• Implement Big Data solutions using BigQuery, Hadoop, and Iceberg in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Analyze complex software engineering challenges and deliver effective solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of strong database engineering experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in SQL database development and management.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies including Hadoop and Iceberg.
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Python and Java is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Strong background in Python or Java development.
• Experience with large-scale data migration projects.
