Description

You will own database administration, performance tuning, and Change Data Capture (CDC) implementation for Tier 1 production environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize MySQL databases for high-performance enterprise applications.
• Implement and troubleshoot CDC pipelines using Debezium connectors and Kafka.
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve database, replication, and data flow issues.
• Coordinate with application, integration, and downstream teams to ensure delivery.
• Support critical production issues and customer discussions onsite.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning.
• Practical experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) implementation.
• Hands-on exposure to data streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Working knowledge of Debezium connectors for event capture.
• Experience supporting Tier 1 application layer databases in production.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience resolving complex replication and data flow issues.
