Description

You will own database reliability and platform operations, primarily for Snowflake, with secondary support for MongoDB. This role focuses on automation, performance optimization, and security governance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake platform operations and reliability in a production environment.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, SQL, or Bash to streamline database tasks.
• Troubleshoot analytical queries and optimize performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement security, governance, and monitoring standards for data platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to resolve incidents.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in database operations, reliability engineering, or data platforms.
• Hands-on production experience with Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and analytical query troubleshooting.
• Scripting and automation skills in Python, SQL, or Bash.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).
• Strong operational mindset and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to MongoDB operations, including replica sets, backups, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with SRE concepts such as incident management and automation.
