Responsibilities

• Architect and implement Databricks pipelines to support enterprise data platform initiatives.
• Define frameworks, clustering strategies, and platform capabilities to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Lead and mentor development teams, providing technical direction and best practices.
• Integrate data from Azure, SQL Server, and Power BI into Databricks for BI and AI use cases.
• Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in Databricks architecture, including clustering, frameworks, and platform capabilities.
• Strong data background with ability to architect, design, and lead developers.
• Demonstrated team leadership and ability to communicate with both technical teams and executives.
• Consulting mindset with ability to advocate and drive outcomes.
• Experience with Azure, SQL Server, and Power BI integration.
• 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering or architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Financial services background (cash, liquidity, forecasting, payments).
• Experience using AI tools (Devin.AI, Claude, Rovo, etc.).
