Manage and optimize Murex Datamart configurations and reporting architectures for capital markets.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Datamart setups and table structures to identify redundant objects and minimize batch execution times.
• Develop generic data models and create specific Datamart objects including dynamic tables, feeders, and scanner templates.
• Execute processing scripts and batches manually or via scheduling tools like Control-M.
• Reconcile report extraction outputs against MReport outputs and analyze discrepancies caused by filter or launcher flag changes.
• Collect technical specifications and participate in peer reviews of requirements and testing documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with MX3.1 Datamart and comprehensive understanding of the Murex system.
• In-depth knowledge of MX reporting architecture, MX data model, and Datamart configuration.
• Expertise in SQL programming with experience in RDBMS such as Oracle and Sybase.
• Strong understanding of capital market products including FX (mandatory), IRD, FI, EQD, and CRD.
• Proficiency with Unix and basic Unix commands.
• Experience with Simulation and Risk Matrices, specifically market risk and credit risk report development.
• Knowledge of the Trade Life Cycle and financial instruments like Swaps, Futures, Options, and FRA.
• Familiarity with mxres configuration files and launcher flags.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Mreport to Datamart migration.
• Shell scripting, awk, sed, Perl, or Java.
