Description

You design, code, test, and maintain enterprise data warehouse systems using IBM Datastage and InfoSphere.

Responsibilities

• Administer the full systems life cycle for application software and data warehouse components.
• Design and implement technical solutions using Datastage, Quality Stage, and InfoSphere.
• Review data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Tune existing data warehouse components and research new applications for viability.
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with ETL tools, specifically IBM Datastage.
• Proficiency in Unix and Linux operating systems.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and DB2 Visualizer.
• Hands-on experience with Quality Center for testing and tracking.
• Experience supporting enterprise data warehouses and data marts.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information.

Preferred Skills

• Experience tuning data warehouse performance.
