Description

Architect and implement cloud data solutions using DataStage and DB2, primarily within Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data solutions using DataStage and DB2 in Azure or other cloud environments.
• Execute lift and shift migrations for applications and ETL processes to the cloud.
• Set up ETL pipelines and data lake architectures.
• Tune SQL performance to ensure efficient data processing.
• Write and maintain technical business process documentation.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture.
• Expertise in IBM DataStage and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data lake setup.
• Strong SQL performance tuning skills.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Ability to design clear technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Azure stack, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Synapse.
• Experience migrating ETL workloads to cloud platforms.
