Description

You will design and maintain data integration solutions using IBM DataStage to support data warehouse operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL jobs using IBM DataStage versions 9.1 through 11.5.
• Design efficient database structures, including tables, data types, stored procedures, and functions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SQL Server service outages and performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize database code for readability, reliability, and execution speed.
• Advise on architectural best practices for clustering, log shipping, mirroring, and replication.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with IBM DataStage (versions 9.1 - 11.5).
• 5+ years of experience performing ETL specifically with DataStage.
• 5+ years of experience working with RDBMS platforms including SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or Vertica.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing complex procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Experience writing complex mapping, operational scripts, and triggers for data integration.
• 8+ years of professional experience working for U.S. companies.
• 4+ years of recent experience working at a major bank since 2017.
• Ability to communicate development needs and technical approaches clearly to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience working within agile development practices.
