Description

You will design, develop, and maintain DB2 database objects including tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures. You will write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and performance improvement.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability.
• Handle end-to-end support including incident resolution and root cause analysis while maintaining SLA adherence.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into secure database solutions with proper data integrity controls.
• Manage backup, recovery, and routine maintenance activities to ensure database health.
• Mentor junior team members and document technical specifications and processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with DB2 database administration and development.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with database performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Ability to work US/night shift hours and collaborate with global teams.
• Strong understanding of data integrity, validation, and security controls.
• Experience in incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Any Graduate degree.
