Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute large-scale data migration from Oracle to IBM DB2.

Support data migration across Development, Test, Pre-Production, and Production environments.

Migrate and validate data supporting IBM Maximo.

Work with tables, indexes, triggers, views, synonyms, functions, and stored procedures as required.

Ensure in-scope tables are properly prepared and migrated with complete data replacement.

Perform data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks throughout the migration.

Collaborate with Maximo SMEs to validate migration design and data scope.

Troubleshoot database connectivity and migration-related issues.

Support direct connectivity between legacy Oracle and DB2 environments where required.

Ensure the target DB2 Maximo environment is aligned with the existing Maximo version and patch level.

Required Qualifications

Strong experience as a Senior DB2 Database Resource/DBA.

Hands-on experience with Oracle to DB2 data migration.

Experience performing large-volume database migrations.

Strong knowledge of DB2 and Oracle database structures and data management.

Experience with database objects including tables, indexes, triggers, views, synonyms, functions, and stored procedures.

Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and migration testing.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in multi-environment enterprise database landscapes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with IBM Maximo and Maximo database environments.

Experience migrating or supporting Maximo from Oracle to DB2.

Experience with large enterprise or automotive/manufacturing environments.

Knowledge of Maximo database structures and migration best practices.

Strong communication and collaboration skills
