Description

Senior DBA responsible for administering, tuning, and optimizing Oracle databases in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions while supporting application developers.
• Perform advanced performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting using Explain Plans and internal views.
• Develop and modify Linux shell scripts to automate day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance applications and implement new data solutions.
• Provide production, development, and test environment support, including on-call troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience implementing, administering, and monitoring Oracle databases.
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle 11g/19c architecture, including tablespace consolidation and index analysis.
• Experience with Solaris and Linux systems for database troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in data modeling using SQL Developer and Erwin, including star schemas.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with AWS technologies.
• Ability to work in Agile environments, including backlog grooming and user story development.
