Description

You will design and implement data transformation workflows using DBT to support analytics and reporting needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data transformation workflows using DBT Core and DBT Cloud.
• Optimize existing DBT models for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure timely data availability and quality.
• Collaborate to define data requirements and align data architecture with organizational solution architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with DBT Core and DBT Cloud.
• 8 years of overall IT experience.
• Expertise in SQL.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and PySpark.
• Experience ensuring data quality and optimizing data lakes.
• Familiarity with AWS services including Glue, Redshift, S3, Athena, and EMR.
• Understanding of data lakehouse architecture, specifically with Iceberg format.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka and Airflow.
• Background in healthcare data systems or leading data engineering teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
