Description

You will design, develop, test, and deploy multi-tiered desktop applications within an agile software development life-cycle. You will own the migration of legacy Delphi 7 code to 64-bit Delphi XE8 and maintain existing Pension and Retirement applications. You are responsible for resolving defects, performance issues, memory leaks, and scalability challenges. You will track work activities and issue resolution using Jira.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop multi-tiered desktop applications in an agile environment.
• Migrate legacy Delphi 7 code to 64-bit Delphi XE8.
• Build new functionality and modify existing Pension and Retirement applications.
• Resolve defects, performance issues, memory leaks, and scalability challenges.
• Track work activities and issue resolution using Jira.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience using Delphi.
• Expertise in Delphi development and technical analysis documentation.
• Proficiency with MS SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or other RDBMS.
• Experience with Cobol, Btrieve files, and Interbase.
• Strong knowledge of COM, ODBC, OOP concepts, and XMIL.
• Experience developing client-server applications and libraries.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to handle product versions, documentation, and development standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Mumps developers.
